Despite being born a LONG time ago, I have managed to have my share of adventures and am determined to keep living life to the full until the end. Having a brother three years my senior ensured my early childhood was full of excitement and action! I loved hearing tales and reading stories of distant lands. Life to me has always been a dream of new experiences. When I started teaching, my restless spirit led me to keep applying for posts abroad in Rhodesia, South Africa, army schools in the Middle East and so on, and always I was offered an exciting future but my mother became so distressed when I'd tell her I was going that I would withdraw my acceptance of the posts on offer.
